**Role Title**: Team Lead - IT **Reporting to**: IT Assistant Manager - Operations **Area**: IT **Location**: Barranquilla, Colombia **Role Purpose**: Manage team members & align tasks as per priority, Empowering team members with skills to improve their technical knowledge, support to fix issues in 24 X 7 Mixed WFH and WFO environments. Monitoring different ranges of Network and server hardware, Inventory Management, and escalation of issues. **Role Value**: 1) Utilize Team with maximum capacity 2) Support / Troubleshoot Technical issues. **Responsibilities**: - Provide technical support to team members in troubleshooting. - Communicates company goals, safety practices, and deadlines to the team. - Supports team manager and performs management duties. - Manages inventories and stock, including keeping detailed records of inventory - Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks - Develops strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals - Preparing and presenting Team reviews - Ensuring a consistent standard of customer service - Monitoring important services & jobs - Escalation of issues **Experience and Qualifications**: - 5 years of experience in related roles. - Graduate degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent - Experience in managing a team, Strategic Planning. - Proven experience in enterprise technical support, IT Support, or as a Technical Engineer of at least 3 years. - Experience in handling Windows Server Operating Systems, Linux, and Network Environments. - Strong problem-solving skills. - Excellent customer-facing skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Dealing with ISP - Tracking SLA & Escalation of issues **Great to have Experience and Qualifications** - Diploma/ Degree of team management - Cisco Firewall, Switches & Routers - AWS, Google Cloud Services, Azure - Windows Server, Linux - Monitoring Tools - Atlassian Suite: JIRA, Confluence - Plus: CCNA (or similar), MCSA (or similar), Virtualization with Vmware or similar, experience with PCI/DSS or similar and security frameworks. - High level of English is a must: 80% (written and verbal). **Key Characteristics and Attitudes**: In a recent global survey these attributes were valued by Jumios in all locations and functions - we firmly believe in hiring for attitude as well as skill. - Friendly and supportive - Adaptable and flexible - Articulate and persuasive - High IQ and EQ - Curious and coachable - Resilient and tenacious - Detail oriented **Jumio Values**: - **IDEAL**: Integrity, Diversity, Empowerment, Accountable, Leading Innovation In Barranquilla’s office you will work within a dynamic environment that translates into personal and professional growth.
