Purpose This role installs and maintains operating systems, applications, servers, virtualization, network devices and backup systems to ensure stable performance. Key Missions Responds to the day-to-day business needs according with priorities Troubleshoots problem source through discussions with users and coordinates with internal organization support and operations groups and with vendors to resolve problems Stays up-to-date on information technology and aligns it with IDEMIA and Divisions' technology strategy Acquires, installs and upgrades IT components, licensing and software, and manages inventory Ensures to follow governance model and processes (change management, root cause analysis, documentation, etc.) Creates and maintains documentation related to their activities Ensures and supports Division standards about safety and security as well as industry and legal regulations Plans service availibity according to business requirements (this may include defining redundancy, backup implementation, having on-call duty) Proposes improvement projects and evaluates costs in alignment with local business needs and report properly Acts as a lead or first-level supervisor during manager absence providing leadership and been the escalation point of contact for the department Ensures processes are properly deployed and used among IT Network or System Administrator teams Contributes to the infrastructure strategy Coache and manages a team of IT Network or System Administrator Profile & Other Information
